I don’t recall being courageous as a child, but I have a courageous spirit. I wasn’t always so confident, but I am confident in knowing that I can make almost anything happen if I am true to my spiritual DNA, desires, needs and aspirations. I have earned many degrees and attained many certifications, but the best lessons were the “I Made it” lessons that taught me that my bruises and flaws did not make me useless or worthless, but more beautiful.
Imagine that, your flaws, scars or spiritual wounds do not serve as tokens of trying, but talismans that remind you that you can’t be broken. And if you can fully appreciate that you can’t be broken, but can only become stronger AFTER the storms, AFTER overcoming the lies of life and AFTER going through your been throughs, then you can empower yourself to think your way out of what you’re currently going through. And if you can empower yourself to think beyond what you’re going through, then you can imagine living a life that is meaningful.
And while that is a huge leap, there is nothing that you can’t do for yourself if you find a way to change your mindset about what else could be despite EVERYTHING that happened before you saw the beauty of today. What I’ve learned throughout my years of personal growth and development to get my mind right to get my life right is that mindset changes things. Here are just four things, I want you to appreciate about your ability to live, love and launch your dreams by changing your mindset like a BOSS:
- You must first BELIEVE that you have the power to be AND do what you desire. Think back over your life to assess every accomplishment you made regardless of what others did or didn’t do for you. The same way you believe then is the same way you must believe now that you have what it takes to not only decree or declare affirmations, but also your enoughness to do what you need to manifest what you believe is meant to be.
- You must OWN the power to make the commitment, but do the work. The desires of bigger, better and more are rooted in fact that a great God who has done, will do and continually does great
things resides within you. The same way God spoke to darkness, you can too. The same way, God delegated to others, you can too. The same way God rested, you can too. And the same way God penalized when standards were violated, you can too. - You must SOW into your destiny to ensure that your latter will be greater. The Law of Manifestation recognizes that before there is a reaping, there must be a sowing season, followed by protecting, nurturing and growing. And while it seems like a lot of work, never forget that all things will work out for your good so long as you work it.
- You must SEIZE what you need along the way. If you tap into your brilliance within you and are committed to your divine assignment to making your dreams of bigger, greater and more a reality, then good things will show up to help you. Whether the things are people, places, things or opportunities, never forget that God sees you, knows you and will continually lead you from confusion, foolishness and chaos to help you walk in purpose to make your dreams a reality.
Of course, this list isn’t exhaustive because God is great and his beauty shows up and shows out whenever you make room for it. Just know, changing your mindset about your value, worthiness, usefulness, beautifulness and enoughness will give you the power to press through and break through the trauma, drama and struggle to appreciate the beauty of getting through.So whether you’re a student, mother, employee, boss lady or even a brother, always remember that your enoughness is less about God and more about your mindset. Accordingly, if you’re not seeing what you’ve been dreaming, then it’s time to change your mindset like B.O.S.S.
