Many of us have been cultivated in fear, relegated to watching and waiting and seeking validation to live our blessed life #likeaboss. I’m here to serve as a reminder that GOD has given you the power to have dominion over your mind, body, business, strongholds and sin.
As a former doormat to the DEVIL (doubt, ego, vices, is a and lust), I can attest that life is not easy. In fact, I got to a point that I believed life was merely about being used, abused, and screwed. I hated life so much so that I prayed I could slumber and never wake up. But God wouldn’t listen. Instead, the Holy Spirit sat on me one night in my dream.
During that time, I was broke, busted and disgusted with life so I stopped praying, stopped dreaming and stopped believing. But in a Holy Instant, I was able to appreciate that I was more than a pretty face, a bootycall, teenage parent’s mistake or a doormat to influencers. The next day, I started writing affirmations, start going to church and start releasing negativity from my life.
While it took me several rebirths to awaken my true self, I snapped out of it. And because I’ve been there, done that and lived the life, I can see many are in a spiritual trance. Much like me, many have sipped for so long on the things of this world that their mind, body and soul have gotten comfortable. We’ve gotten comfortable complaining, comfortable celebrating and comfortable consuming whatever comes our way or shows up on our plates (just being honest).
But what I know for sure, nothing grows in comfort zones. If it did, God wouldn’t continually remind us that we are more than overcomers, that he got us in our time of need, that he will provide in the Valley of the Shadows and that the devil will try to steal, kill and destroy our joy but we are undevourable. Hello somebody!
If you find yourself on the hamster wheel of success, I got you. If you find yourself stuck and in a stupor of wanting but not doing, I got you. And if you you find yourself looking forward to 2019 despite having 35 more days in THIS year, I got you too.
Just know, you’re worthy of living the life you love. You need only say yes to BOSSing yourself up to become who God needs you to be to manifest greater things. Thebossupchallenge.com
