What does it mean to win? Better yet, can someone who doesn’t come from a good family, know the right people or is a statistical disaster win in life? These were the questions I often asked myself as I encountered negativity, rejection, abuse and spiritual discomfort. While everything was seemingly against me, I still wanted to achieve better than anyone in my family had ever done before.
Guidance
Despite the fact that I wanted to achieve greater, I kept starting and stopping myself until one day I realized I needed a spiritual coach. I asked around, but no one was willing to help me. That is until one day, the heavens opened and revealed a different way. I don’t how it came about, but one day learned about Gabrielle Bernstein who wrote a book about the Holy Spirit. I grew up in a Pentecostal church so my curiosity was peaked. As I began watching Gabrielle, I ran into videos of her spiritual teachers and gurus who were sharing their stories of awakenings and enlightenment which inspired me to learn more. As I eagerly read and watched more videos, God’s truth was revealed which is that I had to commit to allowing the Holy Spirit to lead and guide my footsteps in every aspect of my life.
Insight
Now armed with new insight, I began reading the Bible as though it revealed divine wisdom that could help me build and live the life and business of my dreams. Before I knew it, I discovered the rams in the bush at networking events. I stopped seeing opposition as roadblocks, but yield signs that lead to opportunities. And I ran into a few “Mordechai’s” who served as coaches, marketing mentors and professors to help others appreciate their brilliance.
Power
Similarly, you have the power to achieve greater success. Whether you’re seeking to see better results in your personal, professional or business endeavors, you have what it takes to be great. You need only seek to see what is meant to be by asking God (Source/Divine) to help you appreciate his truth, wisdom and instruction.
So stop stressing over who doesn’t love you, adore you or celebrate you. Instead, seek to see who you’re meant to help, educate, lift and propel forward so that they can become a better version of themselves. As God reveals his wisdom and knowledge to you, he will continually strengthen, guide and motivate you to say yes each and every assignment he’s preordained for you. Before you know it, your voice is stronger, your vision in clearer and you finding yourself the woman in the mirror.
